Lauri holds a Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Woman’s University.  She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.  She is a member of the Texas Speech Language Hearing Association (TSHA) and CPR certified.
         Lauri worked as a school based speech therapist for 10 years prior to establishing Academy for Speech and Language.  She has an enthusiasm for helping children achieve their full potential while providing their families with the necessary tools to maximize their progress. 

        Lauri is married to Chad and she has two daughters, Reagan and Landry.
