Kari graduated with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University, both in Lubbock, Texas.  She is licensed by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners and certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.  Kari is certified in Interactive Metronome and has completed numerous continuing education courses in the areas of sensory integration.  Kari is also a Registered Therapist in Hippotherapy and is a member of the American Hippotherapy Association. 

            Kari has provided occupational therapy assessment and treatment in a variety of settings including outpatient rehabilitation, hospital, public school system, long term care, home health, private practice and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).  Kari’s interests and areas of continuing education include pediatric sensory integration, NDT, feeding disorders, NICU developmental care, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. 

            Kari is married to Mark and they have a 2 month old daughter, Maci.
