Julie graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language from the University of Texas at Austin. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for Physical Therapy. She is a member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Julie is also a Registered Therapist in Hippotherapy and is a member of the American Hippotherapy Association and the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). Julie is also certified in Interactive Metronome and has completed Level 1 of Craniosacral Therapy.
Julie has devoted her entire career to the specialty of Pediatric Physical Therapy and has experience with assessment and treatment in private practice, the public school system, hospital, outpatient rehabilitation, home health, Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Julie has special interests in the birth to 3 population, cerebral palsy and gait training. Julie practices with the purpose of incorporating treatment into play-based sessions and educating families on the resources available to help their children achieve their maximum potential.
Julie and Chad have been married for almost 10 years and have a four-year-old son, Aidan and a 16 month old son, Tristan.
